Homeroom Parents
Two parents per class are needed to work with the teacher as homeroom parents. This position includes helping organize class parties, arranging chaperones for field trips and finding volunteers for class activities, coordinating class activities for Teacher Appreciation Day during Catholic Schools Week. The homeroom parents assist with gathering items for a themed auction basket (theme will be given to each class by the Development Director) for the April gala. Contact your classroom teacher.
Photographers
Two people needed to take pictures of the students, teachers, and parents engaged in school activities and special events, for use in newsletters, school web site, yearbook and Facebook.
Uniform Cabinet
On a monthly basis, check the uniform cabinet to ensure that it is tidy. Also, any articles of clothing that need to be added to the cabinet, ensure that they are not stained or torn before adding to cabinet.
Box Tops Education Coordinator
This position is responsible for counting box tops and preparing box tops for submission to the company for reimbursement.
Jog A Thon – Members of this committee work closely with the Development Director

Numerous volunteers needed the day of the event to assist with setup and cleanup, marking jogger’s bibs and ensuring safety of runners.
Gala Committees - Members of these committees work closely with the Development Director

Gala Procurement committee
Members of this committee assist in obtaining auction items for both the silent and oral auction. Committee members will solicit local and remote merchants requesting donations via email, phone and website forms, as well as in person visits to local businesses.
Gala Advertising committee
This committee will be responsible for going out into the community and soliciting ads for our auction brochure.
Gala Decorations committee
This committee assists with plan layout and decorations of tables and facility.
Gala Setup/Cleanup
Gala Drivers
Three to four volunteers needed to transport all auction items to gala venue morning of the event.
Library Assistants
Individuals needed to assist with organizing, filing and shelving books.

School Picture Assistants
Two volunteers needed in the fall and spring to assist photographer by escorting students by class to the photographer.
Book Fair Assistants
Persons needed to help setup the Book Fairs, assist students in choosing and purchasing books, and help pack up the fair, all under the supervision of the media teacher.

Scrip
People needed who are interested in selling gift certificates to local businesses. Scrip sales will begin mid-November and take place some mornings and some afternoons during each week.
After School Club assistants:
Reading Groups
Monday and Thursday mornings, we hold reading groups to work on skills that include both intervention and enrichment. Call today to find out if you can help a group of 4-6 students!
Hot Lunch
Six individuals needed each Friday to assist with cooking, serving and cleanup.
Milk Duty
One person needed to set up the milk/juice cart, monitor it during the three lunches, and put it away.
All volunteers must pass a background check and take a course in child safety that must be updated each year. Please make sure that you fulfill all the requirements before you would like to spend time in the classroom with our students.
